Meet the artist
Mary-Ryan is the original frivolous miss and multi-passionate artist behind the art and design studio born of rebellion. With a long list of trivial interests and a bit of a mouth, she adopted the alter ego to help lean into those ‘soft and useless’ passions.
Her work is rich with symbolism and features themes from nature and personal lore. Stories and inspiration behind her work can be found on @frivolousmiss social media and monthly mail club (currently by invitation only).
With a love of data analysis and intricate puzzles, she has also spent over 15 years as a digital and brand marketer, helping small and medium-sized businesses grow. This experience helped guide the launch of her art studio, and she continues to partner on select projects that align with her values.
