Meet the artist

Mary-Ryan is the original frivolous miss and multi-passionate artist behind the art and design studio born of rebellion. With a long list of trivial interests and a bit of a mouth, she adopted the alter ego to help lean into so-called ‘soft and useless’ aspects of life.

Her work features themes from nature, a lifelong study of color theory & symbolism, travel, and current events. Originally from Georgia, the places she’s lived which continue to inspire her work the most are Vermont, Florida, Colorado, and Spain. She has over 15 years working as a digital and brand marketer, helping small and medium-sized businesses grow. This experience guided the launch of her own art studio, and she continues to partner on select freelance marketing projects today.
